Your feet bear your entire weight and are stressed during all kinds of movement, including exercise, walking, jogging. While walking barefoot at home or in the grass is great for your feet, they do get dirty and, if you don’t take good care of them, you can suffer from cracked heels that will catch even more dirt and may even get infected, dirty toenails, rough skin and worse. Having a professional pedicure regularly can be time-consuming and expensive. However, if you take good care of your feet, you will be rewarded by soft and smooth skin, smooth heels and clean toenails. All these will go a long way in keeping fungal diseases and foot odor at bay and making your feet look good.
Before using any scrub on your feet, it is important to soak them for at least 20 minutes. You should first clean your feet, if dirty, then soak them in water that is hot enough to bear. Add Epsom or other salts to the water, or use some lemon juice and some essential oil drops or even some mild shampoo and soak the feet then scrub to remove dead skin. After that use the foot spa.
